Zjesc chesc and isc sound confusingly similar , especially when spoken quickly and in a noisy environment. It's a useful video for showing what we are up against when learning Polish.

You say don't worry about the grammar, Ewelina but it's a nightmare, such as whether masculine genitive inanimate nouns end in a u or a. Your video highlights this also as regards listening because adding the u to park makes the word sound like "parkING". I thought you were asking where you could park your car.

I'm trying so hard to learn Polish. My sons girlfriend lives in Kowal. She speaks very good English We don't speak very good Polish. They have been 'together' for 3 years now. He goes over to Poland to stay with her. She comes over to England to stay with us, She is adorable. He will most likely go over to live with her soon. Her family doesn't speak English so I have to learn. You are the best teacher I have found online. You take time and you explain everything. Thank you.

Thanks, I think I have to learn Polish now that so many people where I live speak Polish all the time, one can feel a bit left out when you can't understand a word they are saying.

Thank you for posting these videos and teaching in such a kind way. There is a group of Polish people at my church that I have become very friendly with, and although they all speak English, I like being able to speak to them in Polish. They get a kick out of it! 😊
